The question: “Who got kicked off American Idol 2010?” has become one of the most searched topics on the web. American Idol management has a very stringent policy for their contestants as participants have to secure confidentiality as per rules of the competition.
But many people are viewing this rule as biased when one of the contestants, Michael Lynche was thrown out of the competition just because his father leaked some inside information related to his son. People are viewing the punitive action by the American Idol management as very harsh and prejudiced.
Certainly, Michael Lynche paid the price of his father’s act who disclosed that his son has qualified for the top-24 semifinal. Now the American Idol rules require their contestants not to reveal in-side information. Michael Lynche was selected among the top 24 contestants last week and this information was leaked by his father when he told a newspaper about his son’s selection. Obviously, this was an infringement of American Idol rules of secrecy.
Michael Lynche who is called as “Big Mike” was a sports icon of a high School and his mother writes in the newspaper St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times. The newspaper revealed that the father of the contestant verified that his son has made the top-24 level. Another website, Joe’s Place, notorious for peeping in to the private as well as confidential information of the American Idol contestants, is known for destroying “Idols”. This website revealed that Michael Lynche has been substituted by another contestant.
